Dads/Male Caregivers and Kids Night with the Museum

Dads/Male Caregivers and Kids returns this fall with in-person or Zoom gatherings taking place the last Thursday of each month.
Presented in partnership with Rural Response for Health Children, each gathering includes fun-filled themed activities, parent discussions and social time. This is a great virtual/in-person event to spend together with your children!
Thanks to a grant from Second Harvest and the Government of Canada, Rural Response is providing $70 gift cards to local restaurants for each adult participant. Monthly registration is required to receive virtual meeting access. Please register the Tuesday before the program starts. Visit www.rrhc.on.ca to register online.
- Sept. 29, 6-7 p.m.: In-person tour of the Huron Historic Gaol
- Oct 27, 6-7 p.m.: Virtual gathering through Zoom. This month’s theme will focus on the video series CANUCKSTORIANS: Stories of famous faces from Huron County. Participants will enjoy videos about famous Huron County residents created by kids and artifacts from museum’s collection.
- Nov 24, 6-7 p.m.: In-person tour of the Museum and the Huron County Art Show. Participants will vote on the Dads and Kids choice from the show and will be inspired to make their own art.
- Dec. 15, 6-7 p.m. (moved to the third Thursday):Virtual gathering through Zoom. Enjoy winter holiday crafts and storytelling.
