Create your own feathered flapper headband during this millinery workshop. Learn about the origins of the iconic flapper headpiece while you create your own headband from feathers, jewels and trim. Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston, a professional costume designer and milliner, will lead you through the workshop where all materials are provided and no prior experience is required.

Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston is a professional costume designer and builder with over 25 years of experience. She has been a contract faculty member for the Theatre and Dance Departments at York University and Ryerson University and Ryerson School of Fashion. Currently Jennifer is the director of the Fashion Arts & Creative Textiles Studio (FACTS) and the owner of Pick a Posie Costume Company, a secondhand shop selling fashion, vintage and costumes in Blyth.
