NEW DATE – Ripple Effect: Exploring Wetlands
June 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pmFree
The date for this event has been rescheduled to Monday, June 28, 2 p.m.
The Museum’s exhibit Ripple Effect explores Huron County’s lakes and waterways, and while the exhibit is temporarily closed to the public, we invite you to join us for a FREE virtual presentation from the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority to learn more about the County’s wetlands from home!
Hosted by the Huron County Museum, participants will virtually visit local wetlands and look at why they’re special and so important to the watershed ecosystem. We’ll explore the many functions of wetlands including headwater and groundwater recharge areas, wildlife and plant habitat, and spaces for recreation.
Ages: This event is great for all ages!
