All aboard! It’s full steam ahead for the Huron County Museum & Historic Gaol’s STEAM Power Camp.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math.

Week of July 15: Make it Work!

Ages 5-10

Hands-on creativity! Build, invent, create & improve! Get inspired by the museum’s agricultural, industrial and fashion collections to learn how they work & make your own.

Week of July 29: Kids run the Museum!  

Ages 5-10

To work at a museum you have to be a tinkerer, scientist, storyteller, and detective. Go behind the scenes and become a hands-on curator.  Investigate, share and make history!

Week of August 12: Time Travelers!

Ages 5-10

Travel by plane, train & automobile and through time, without ever leaving the museum. Experience life in the past, investigate historical mysteries, compare past toys, games, and tools to those of the present, and imagine the future!

Cost: $135.00 a week
For members $115.00 a week

Camper drop off between 8:30-9:00
Camper Pick up between 4:00-4:30 pm
