Attention teachers! Sign up your class for a FREE interactive and educational Zoom presentation from the Huron County Museum & Historic Gaol. In celebration of International Museum Day, we’re offering a live, virtual interactive field trip to the Museum via a secure Zoom webinar on Wednesday, May 18 at 9:30 a.m.

Students will speak to an early settler preparing to immigrate to the Huron Tract in the 19th century. The program will also include a local focus on treaty history, the consequences of European settlement, and learn about early immigrant experience in the Huron Tract. The program is aimed at primary grades, with particular relevance to the Grade 3 curriculum.

The virtual field trip includes a live virtual Q & A that allows students to submit their questions. Participants can submit questions live, or submit them as a class beforehand through email.
