Dads/Male Caregivers & Kids Night at the Museum

Calling all dads/male caregivers and kids – we have partnered with Rural Response for Healthy Children to host a night just for you! This program features fun-filled activities, parent discussions, and social time. There will be tours of the Museum and Historic Gaol, artifact and exhibit activities, parent/child social time, healthy snacks, and games. This is a great opportunity to spend time together with your children.

• Thursday, Jan. 29 (5th Thursday at the Museum): Inventions & Models! 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of the Huron County Museum. Mr. Neill was the first curator and he loved to build models. We will build our own models and try out some inventions. Please register by Jan. 28.
• Thursday, Feb. 26 (at the Museum): Sports & Olympics! Come join our Museum Olympics challenges and take a look at sports-related artifacts. We will also make a medal craft together! Please register by Feb. 25.
• Thursday, March 26 (at the Museum): Radio & TV! Learn about old radio and TV equipment and watch a film in the movie theatre. Popcorn will be provided and everyone is encouraged to bring a stuffie to enjoy the movie with! Please register by March 25.
