Day Camp FAQ:
- Open to children ages 5 – 10
- Day camp programming runs 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Day camp morning drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m.; pick-up ends at 4:30 p.m.
- Museum members receive day camp discounts! Become a member!
- PA Day Camp: $40 Non-members | $35 Members

Designed for kids ages 5-10, our camps bring history to life through hands-on activities, crafts, and games inspired by local stories and heritage. With four uniquely-themed weeks to explore, there’s something exciting for every young adventurer! See 2025 program descriptions below.
- CAMP FEES: $150/week ($130/week for Museum Members).

History in Motion
July 7-11, 2025
Camp is now FULL
Buckle up for an action-packed week exploring the Museum’s many incredible vehicles and fun-filled games from the past! From horse-drawn carriages to high-speed trains, and from ancient board games to modern sports, campers will dive into the vehicles and games that have shaped how we travel and play. With hands-on activities, creative challenges and plenty of chances to play, this camp is a combination of movement, history, and fun!
Eco Explorers
July 21-25, 2025

Pack your bags for an unforgettable adventure where the excitement of world travel meets the mission to protect our planet! Campers will embark on a journey to explore the wonders of nature—from the diversity of Huron County to faraway ecosystems around the globe. Along the way, they’ll uncover the secrets of wildlife and learn how to care for the environment. From creating eco-friendly art to discovering sustainable solutions, this camp is all about exploring, creating, and becoming young environmental champions.

From groundbreaking inventions in art, science, and technology, to thrilling expeditions, campers will dive into the incredible stories of global and local pioneers who dared to dream big. Through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and fun challenges, kids will not only learn about these trailblazers but also create their own “firsts” as they unleash their imagination and curiosity.
Crafty Curators
Aug. 18-22, 2025

Get ready to go behind the scenes in the Museum where history and creativity collide. Campers will step into the role of junior curators, discovering the secrets of how museums bring objects and stories to life. Campers will explore the art of storytelling through exhibits, learn how to care for precious artifacts, explore some of the weirdest artifacts in our collection, and create their own mini-museum displays.
