Stuffie Sleepover

The Huron County Museum and our two-headed calf stuffie invite children to drop off their favourite stuffed animal (or toy) at the Museum! Kids will be able to watch the movie Paddington 2 with their guardian and their stuffie. Then tuck the stuffies into bed in the theatre before leaving them for their own overnight adventure at the Museum! When the stuffies are picked up the next day, kids will receive a souvenir Polaroid of their friend’s sleepover!  Follow us on social media (@huroncountymuseum) to see more of what your stuffed animal friends get up to at the Museum after hours. Stuffies will be given unprecedented permission to go behind barriers in the exhibits, and visit storage and office spaces. Each will be well looked after and read a story before bedtime.

The movie is included with regular admission (free for members or with your Huron County Library card), and leaving a stuffie for the sleepover is by donation.  ONE stuffie can be dropped off per child. Each stuffie will be tagged for identification. Toy pick-up will be during regular Museum hours on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16.

• Toy pickup:  Friday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or Saturday 1pm – 4:30 p.m.
